Our Staff

Brian S. Gerau

President, Jackson Area Chamber of Commerce

In my current position, my responsibilities include creating and retaining a strong rapport with every Chamber member and developing new business. I am also dedicated to the industrial growth and major employer retainment for the area.

As Chamber President, I have been able to redirect a stagnant Chamber of Commerce to meets its goals internally and externally while establishing a positive reputation within the community. The Chamber has gone from an organization that was struggling in attendance, member moral, and financially, to an organization that has increased member attendance, enthusiasm and is now profitable. I increased membership from 330 members to 500 members, retained and increased membership by 25%, increased corporate partnership by 75%, and increased participation in chamber events by over 50%. I also developed a comprehensive economic development strategy and initiated a dedicated policy towards working with targeted businesses on every chosen level. I actively participate in economic development organizations and represent the Chamber and the City of Jackson in economic development recruitment, retainment, and oversight.
